Beautiful bronze rooster signed by the artist Clovis Edmond Masson, with a marble base.
Clovis-Edmond Masson, born in Paris on March 7, 1838 and died in 1913, French animal sculptor.
Clovis Masson is a student of the French sculptor Antoine-Louis Barye. He specializes in animal representation. As materials he mainly uses plaster, wax or bronze.
From 1867 he exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon until 1881. He produced more than fifty works until 1909.
