- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. There is a ding to the chest that has been repaired, pictured, and we believe an ear and a horn have been re-soldered. There are some slight soldering flaws and separation as well.

Sergio Bustamante
Sergio Bustamante studied architecture at the University of Guadalajara, and sold his artwork while in school, beginning in 1960. After graduating, he worked with local ceramicists, eventually opening his studio. In 1972, Bustamante moved to Amsterdam, where he learned more about painting and design. In 1975, he established his Family Workshop Studio in Tiaquepaque, Mexico. His monumental sculptures can be found in several cities, including Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, and Tiaquepaque.
