This stunning collection of mouth-blown art glass birds is by Oiva Toikka, one of Finland’s most celebrated and internationally renowned glass artists. These exquisite sculptures are part of his iconic Birds by Toikka series, crafted over decades at the renowned Nuutajärvi glassworks.
Each bird is a unique work of art, showcasing Toikka’s masterful use of color, form, and fluidity in glass. The series has captivated collectors worldwide, becoming a symbol of Scandinavian glass design and craftsmanship.
This set includes 10 birds, all in excellent condition and bearing the artist’s signature on the base. Among them is a larger limited-edition piece, one of only 3,000 produced, adding rarity and collectible value.

Oiva Toikka (1931-2019) was a Finnish master glass designer and ceramist, working for Arabia Oy and Nuutajärven Lasitehdas. Toikka produced some of the most iconic designs in Finnish glass history. He was known best for his variety of glass birds. His distinct style is very vibrant, colourful and playful. For his long standing career and efforts as a glass designer, he was recognized with the Pro- Finlandia Award, Kaj Franck- Award and the Prince Eugene- Medal. His works can be found in museums and private collections worldwide.
