About the Item
Fine Bronze of a small bull on a black belgian marble base.
The Original Bronze figure propably dates from the Art Nouveau or early Art Déco period in France.
These small bronzes were often used as decorative objects on writing desks.
The bull is very naturalistically worked and very expressive in its almost playful movement.
There is a small bronze ball on the underside of the black marble base.
The base is slightly chipped in one small area.
The bronze is unsigned and bears no foundry mark but is of outstanding quality.
A very beautiful antique decorative object.
