About the Item
Offered is a pair of Foo Dog sculptures on a black base. These are a classic Asian decorative piece, they are made from soapstone. This type of sculpture typically depicts two guardian lions, one male and one female, standing on a pedestal and said to bring good luck and protection to the owner. They have a black base and the color of the lions is kept in the natural color of the soapstone. Nice addition to any room. Found at an estate sale in Verona, Italy.
