Large, authentic 18th-century marble head depicting the Roman Emperor Nero. This is a classically inspired sculpture, typical of the Grand Tour or Neoclassical Period (c. 1780–1820). The bust is hand-carved from white marble and shows the Emperor with a detailed, curly hairstyle and a beard.
