The figure of a young man, rendered with closed eyes and a gentle tilt of the head, captures a moment of introspection and quiet grace. The smooth surface of the patinated bronze emphasizes the softness of youth, while subtle modeling along the shoulders and neck adds depth and vitality to the composition. Resting on a rectangular marble base with mottled green and black tones, on which the signature of its creator can be found, the contrast between the cool solidity of the stone and the warm sheen of the metal enhances the sculpture’s sensuous balance.
