About the Item

Alabaster sculpture depicting the portrait of a young girl in the taste of Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, (1824-1887). She is wearing a striped garment decorated with a butterfly that gathers flowers. The texture of her garment is very realistic. The bust rests on a circular base, circa 1880. Dimension: W 12.2 in, D 7.9in, H 18.5in. Dimension: L 31cm, P 20cm, H 47cm.
