About the Item

An exceptionally fine quality highly detailed carved Alabaster portrait figure sculpture bust of an elegant lady wearing a bonnet. Last quarter of the Nineteenth century, possibly of French or Italian origin. The bust is supported on a square plinth with a central front plaque depicting a classical scene, ending on a square stepped platform base. Condition: Good original condition, a few very small chips to base, which is not attached to the figure, otherwise very good clean condition. Measures: Height: (entire) 16” (40.5cm). Width: (at base) 5.25” (13.5cm). Depth: 5.25” (13.5cm). Location: Dublin City, Ireland. Affordable fixed charge Worldwide Store to door shipping.
