About the Item
A fabulous hand carved antique Italian Carrara marble bust of a beautiful woman with a bonnet. This bust is of very good quality and craftsmanship, her face and hair are beautifully hand carved under a large bonnet. The bonnet has a ribbon made of bronze for a very realistic look. The bust is signed shown in the photos and sits on a small pedestal with a bird's head in the front of the base, very interesting. The artist really captured her natural beauty and expression. She does have a chip in her bonnet shown in the photos, but overall in very good condition.
