About the Item

Bust of the Venus of Capua, made in the late 1800s by Gennaro Chiurazzi, signed on the back "J. Chiurazzi Naples" . The white Carrara marble work depicts the bust of the complete statue of Aphrodite of Capua, a Roman-era statue preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Naples. The bust retains an export clearance label from Chile dated 1981.
