About the Item

An impressive and high quality Continental 19th century white Carrara marble bust of Napoleon. This handsome and wonderfully detailed bust is raised on a square base with a half round front displaying Napoleon I below an open winged Eagle. The Eagle is gripping a scroll with eternal flames to each side, while above is the bust of Napoleon wearing his traditional uniform and hat. Exceptionally executed with fine details throughout.
