About the Item
A pair of busts depicting a man and a woman. France/ Belgium, early 20th century. Made of plaster and painted in a dark colour imitating bronze.
‘Madame et Monsieur’ standing on plinths with a rectangular ground plan. The man wears a jacket with a tie and a typical stand-up collar with a small flap, as well as a flower on his lapel.
The faces of both sculptures are very expressive.
