An early 20th century Paris wax mannequin head with glass eyes There is freaky and then there is this item we recently uncovered in Paris from a personal collection earlier this month. With eyes slightly off-centre and raised eyebrow, it most certainly has a sinister look. We call him “Scarface” for obvious reasons. The repairs that have taken place on his face “which are firmly in place” have been done many years ago. This item would have originally once been positioned on a large shop mannequin in a clothing store of sorts, likely in Paris. Dimensions in inches: H 13” x W 7.5” x D 5.5” Origin: Paris (France) Age: Early 20th Century Condition: Aged This antique object is completely solid in structure and form, firmly in place but show natural aging across all surfaces. Aged repairs are visible to see “even though it adds to its freakiness”. The hairs is all in place as are the eyes. No real loss but the left ear has been repaired also that differs to the right ear which is mint.
