Top quality carved bust, signed by Cristoforo Vicari (Swiss-Italian, 1946-1913).
This remarkable antique alabaster sculpture depicts a serene young woman dressed in a Florentine costume inspired by the 13th century, as confirmed by the inscription on the base: “Costume Florentine XIII Secolo.” The bust radiates calm elegance and demonstrates an extraordinary level of craftsmanship throughout.
