A handsome and richly chased French 19th century Verdigris bronze bust of Napoleon, modeled after Canova. This wonderful patinated Bronze bust is raised on a square base displaying the front inscription of Napoleon and a side signature of Canova. The bust portrays Napoleon with idealized, symmetrical features and a solemn, heroic expression. Finely detailed and wonderful patina throughout.
