An impressive Art Deco bronze bust of a man, titled Le Rhône, created by renowned French sculptor André César Vermare, winner of the Medaille d’Honneur.
Cast in bronze with a warm brown patina, the sculpture rests on an elegant Portor marble base.
Signed A. Vermare, this authentic piece measures H. 45 cm x L. 38 cm x W. 18 cm (17.7 x 15 x 7.1 in).
In very good condition, it represents the artist’s mastery in combining classical strength with Art Deco elegance.
