Beautiful sculpture, a representation of the Greek goddess Hygeia. In Greek mythology, Hygieia was the goddess of health. The statue is made of white terracotta (pipeclay), patinated in a green bronze color. The plinth is made from terracotta as well, black patinated. The sculpture is not signed. Overall in good condition. Made in France, 1930-1940.
