A round Plaque depicting the bust of a young boy in the " Della Robbia" Style from the Italian factory "Cantagalli" dating from the late 19th century. The subject is after the original by Desiderio da Settignano (1429-1466). It is marked to the interior with Cantagalli Cockerel black mark. Can be hung on the wall as well as on a table using a stand. The Cantagalli factory was founded by a master maiolica potter, Ulisse Cantagalli (1839-1901) in Florence, Italy, in 1877 and operated from 1878 to 1985.
