About the Item
FanFantastic all original hand carved and painted 19thc hanging wall cupboard . This folky cupboard was found in the mid west in untouched condition. The cupboard has hand carved and painted birds on each top end. It also has what looks like carved owls at the front base of the cupboard. The front has a great carved and painted scene of the mountains with a house on the right side. Both sides of the mirrors has folky vines of roses carved and painted through out. The body or sides of the cupboard are painted and chipped carved out groves. This cupboard can sit upon a blanket chest or hang on a wall. Condition is very good with minor wear and marks to be expected with age of the piece.
