About the Item
A white-grey pair of Louis XVI Epoque Putti or Cherubs statuettes. Hand sculpted and patinated in Walnut in their original antique condition. This Parisian pair of putti are facing each other, and are elegantly draped around the hips. They are presented on a climb and are decorated with Greek style vases and garlands of laurel. Minor repairs, due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1770, Paris, France.
