19th century French patinated bronze sculpture of a faun, child satyr after Clodion This beautiful sculpture of outstanding quality in Rococo style is a finely cast bronze pan or satyr mounted on a Carrara marble base. The circular plinth is further decorated with stylized ormolu mountings. The child satyr is captured in motion with excellent details, running in the woods with leafy crown and sash. Dimensions: 9 1/2" H x 5" W Weight: 6 lbs.
