About the Item
A 20th century bronze figure of a reclining nude Bacchante
the nude girl laying on a lion pelt, with a tambourine beside her, mid brown patination, signed Shabtai, raised on a black slate plinth above four toupie feet. This bronze is sometimes shown with a clock in the tambourine, this one may of had the clock at one time. It does have a small crack on the back of the marble base but is very solid and in very good condition.
