Very beautiful sculpture of Pope John Paul II in white and gilded polychrome bronze signed by Christian Maas. He is a French artist born in 1951, renowned for his bronze animal sculptures. You will see that the pope sculpture is listed in the Christian Maas Book.
Here, the pope holds in his left hand the bronze Christ by Alberto Giacometti. Signed and stamped on the base. Superb quality, exceptional piece.
Small lacks of white paint on the back. For lovers of religious objects or art.
