African Democratic Republic of Congo 20th Century carved wood nail fetish figure in 2-headed dog form (\"Nkisi Koso\"), its torso wrapped with rope entwined around embedded metal nails, open fanged mouth, small inlaid circular glass disc at the center top standing on 4 tapered legs. The dog is thought to be the mediator between the natural and spiritual world, having four eyes, manifested in this 2-headed statue.
