Terracotta with granular black engobe. Portrait of a woman of high rank modeled in round. The hairstyle of a beautiful sophistication ends up giving the work a certain hieraticism. The cover is of a deep black present on the whole composition. This type of works constituted the support of the cult by which the manes of the matrilineal lineage were invoked and venerated.
