Nice old bronze Grand Tour figure of the ancient Greek discus thrower. This version with the head facing forward, probably based on the Roman marble copy in the British Museum. Circa late 19th/early 20th century. 11" high, 6 1/4" wide, 4 1/2" deep. Marble base repaired, seam in right thigh, as shown.
