Der Bildhauer Anton Grath (1881 - 1956) hat dieses große Relief im Jahr 1921 (als Gedenktafel für das Schuberthaus in Wien) ausgeführt.
Es wurden nur 2 Exemplare gegossen - eines ist unverändert am Schuberthaus Grünentorgasse 9) montiert.
Das hier angebotene Exemplar verblieb im Besitz von Anton Grath und stammt aus dessen Nachlass.
Im Gegensatz zu am Schuberthaus angebrachten Relief fügte der Künstler noch den Namen von Franz Schubert hinzu.
