About the Item

A beautiful Art Deco European bronze figure of a female dancer on a black marble base. Early 20th century, signed illegibly on the base. Most probably from France. This elegant bronze has a wonderful patina and movement, as if the dancer is about to step out into the world. Tiny chip to one side of the base, and larger chip, about 1 cm, to the rear corner of the base. Please see photos. The sculpture itself is in perfect condition, with no flaws or scratches.
