Elegant Art Deco sculpture of an athletic scouting / watching male figure by Jean de Roncourt from France around 1930.
Very good original condition, greenish patinated Spelter / Zinc cast. Standing on the thick, stepped original Portoro marble plinth.
Artist: Jean de Roncourt (incised signature in the marble plinth)
A shield crest on the front with personal dedication “From the members of the staff battery, Brest in October 1941”
