Elegant Art Deco Bronze Figure of a Dancing Woman, Sweden, 1930s
By Carl Milles
Located in Frederiksberg C, DK
Elegant Art Deco Bronze Figure of a Dancing Woman, Sweden, 1930s Elegant handcrafted bronze sculpture depicting a stylized female figure standing gracefully with a subtle, upward-reaching posture. Small areas of verdigris, particularly along the upper edge of the base, attest to the sculpture’s age and authenticity while adding a soft, organic accent. The figure stands on a stepped, square bronze base with softly rounded corners, complementing the fluidity of the sculpture’s form. It is unsigned, but the work bears stylistic similarities to Scandinavian bronze sculpture...
