About the Item
This enchanting little girl holding an apple in her hands is made out of ceramic. The sculpture was created at the beginning of the 20th century by the artist Domenico Baccarini for Fabrica Farina. Domenico Baccarini (1882-1907), a painter, engraver and sculptor born in Faenza is recorded to have worked for Fabrica Farina at the beginning of the 20th century. The little girl is sitting with her legs stretched out on the floor, deeply in thought. She is wearing a bonnet and a green dress with mustard yellow dots. The sculpture was executed by Fabrica Farina, the factory mark was in use from 1918.
