About the Item
Polychrome terracotta sculpture depicting a winged putto, Italy, 18th century. The putto is skillfully shaped with the soft, rounded forms typical of Italian Baroque. Gli occhi sono in vetro. The wings are made of applied paper mache. The hair at the soft waves retained the original brown plychrome. The original polychromy is well preserved.
