A fine Murano glass figure.
Attributed to Barovier Seguso
Ferro (Seguso Vetri D'arte).
Model 13341. (S.A.I.A.R. model no. 685)
In the form of a stylized nude woman with two rearing horses.
In clear glass with small gold fleck inclusions in the horses tails, manes, and eyes, and the woman's hair. Fused onto a round, domed plinth.
Likely dates to circa 1937, after the merger of S.A.I.A.R. Ferro Toso and Barovier with the characteristic weightiness of Barovier's work.
With losses to woman's right hand.
Simply a wonderfully rare Venetian glass sculpture!

It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
The woman's right hand is missing. There are no other chips, cracks, or repairs noted. With a pontil mark to the chest and elbows of each horse from the making. Otherwise, there are some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
