About the Item
European “throwing dummy”. These incredible works of art were made in Austria, Germany, The Netherlands and France in the early part of the 20th Century. Constructed of sewn and stitched brown leather.

25”W x 18”D x 61”H
This is a heavy, "life-size" piece with a weighted base that has a Surrealist, crafted feel and is ideal for creating a tone and mood in a residential or commercial setting. We'd love to see this one displaying couture clothing and fine, custom millinery.
The leather is of a very high quality with a pebbled texture and nice, thick structure. This would have been used in a training gymnasium for wrestling or boxing practice. The surface shows authentic wear and a developed patina in accordance with age and use.
