About the Item
The concept of "Boolean" holds significant meaning. In computer-aided design, Boolean operations refer to subtraction, intersection, and union processes. Studio Nucleo plays with these concepts, redefining the destiny of an artwork by adding elements and creating a dynamic interplay between the original form and its transformation.
Studio Nucleo's work often straddles visions of the future and memories of the past. Based on an empirical understanding of space and time, we choose geometric shapes and numerical proportions, always balancing precision and unpredictability.
"Boolean" stands as a testament to this balance. Although the elements of the statues in the Boolean project can be abstracted, their essence remains deeply rooted in the creative idea that respects the original objects—observed, cherished, and transformed. The artwork is as much about the project as the technique, resulting in a harmonious amalgamation of various elements.
