Antique Burmese standing carved wood Buddha statue on base. In a Mudras posture. Typical of Southeast Asian Buddhist art. Carved with black, red gilt paint. Attached to a modern black display base. Old label en verso. Minor losses to lower side/back of pants. Gilt paint wear typical of age. Statue 31.25" h. Overall 35.75" h., 8.25" d., 9.5" w.
