About the Item

Japanese bronze of Ebisu, the god of luck, fishermen, and propriety, circa 1912-26. Antique, likely Taisho era. He holds a red sea bream (which symbolizes good fortune and abundance). Lost wax casting with much of the structure remaining inside the bronze. 17" h., 11" w., 6.75" d. We are a family business that has been a major source for the selective buyer for over 90 years.
