About the Item

An exquisite early 20th-century Capodimonte porcelain figurine depicting a Baroque lady dressed in layered lace with floral embellishments. Handcrafted in Italy around 1900, this translucent soft-paste porcelain sculpture is a beautiful example of the Capodimonte tradition. The figure wears a delicately detailed ruffled gown, accented with applied porcelain roses and real lace preserved in porcelain—a rare and highly collectible technique. Her elegant pose, the finely painted face, and the expressive gesture of her arms evoke the grace and theatricality of 18th-century European court life. Marked “N” and numbered “203” on the base (see photo), this piece is perfect for collectors of Italian porcelain, romantic interior decorators, or as a timeless gift. Take into account that the colors on the items may vary depending on the type of lighting and the type of screen from which you see the images.
