About the Item

A handsome and high quality Continental 19th century patinated bronze statue of a dancing faun with cymbals, signed 'Musée de Florence'. The statue is raised by a circular base where the signature is displayed. Above is the handsome and richly chased faun dancing with cymbals in his hands and playing a foot instrument. He is standing next to a finely detailed tree trunk with a leaf covering and curly hair. All original rich patina throughout.
