A finely scaled model of the Diane de Gabies published by Gautier and Albinet.
With a wonderful distressed silvered surface throughout.
The Diane de Gabies is modeled after the ancient Greek sculpture found in the Villa Borghese and attributed to Praxiteles.
A full sized model of the Diane de Gabies was published by Gauthier in the 19th century and is housed in the British Royal Collection.
Height: circa 16 in.
