This sumptuous French bronze of an attractive young woman dates from the Belle Époque. Simply dressed in a clinging shift and with a garland of flowers at her waist, she conveys both youth and modernity, somewhat anticipating the 1920s but on this hefty Rouge Griotte base, definitely part of the late 19th century.
