About the Item
Our patinated bronze figurine of a lovely female holding a bouquet of flowers after Edouard Drouot (1859 - 1945) is entitled Souvenir. Base carries a plaque that carries the title and artist's name and Medaille de Beaux-Arts, no doubt a reference to the original casting's success at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris, the national academy in Paris, more commonly referred to as the Beaux-Arts de Paris, where the artist studied in 1880s.
