About the Item
A finely cast bronze sculpture depicting a standing female nude, created by the German sculptor Peter Breuer (1856–1930). Executed in Berlin around 1890, this work shows Breuer’s characteristic balance between naturalistic anatomy and subtle idealisation.
The surface exhibits a rich, even patina. The figure stands in a relaxed contrapposto pose with harmonious proportions and refined modelling.
A representative example of late-19th-century Berlin bronze art by one of the key sculptors of his generation.
