About the Item
A fine Venetian art glass figure.
Attributed to Flavio Poli for I.V.A.M. (Industrie Vetraie Artistiche Murano).
Likely dates to 1929-1934.
In clear glass for the subject and black glass for the base with a semi-matte iridized finish all over.
Comprising a stylized woman with her hand on her hip gazing down at a tall basket (or possibly cornucopia) overflowing with fruit
flowers fused to a domed circular base.
Simply a wonderful early Italian art glass figure from Flavio Poli!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is a pontil mark from the making to the back of her neck, to the ends of some vines and flowers, and to the center underside of the base. There are scuffs to the iridized finish here and there, most notably on the left thigh and right hip. Otherwise, there are some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
