A handsome French 19th century patinated Bronze statue of a horse and groom, modeled after the horses of Marly. The spectacular horse is draped in a saddle blanket and displays a wonderful flowing mane and tail while rearing and being handled by a handsome richly chased groom. The groom is draped in a flowing garment and is holding the stallion by its reins. A wonderfully rich and warm patina with fine details throughout.
