An elegant and high quality French 19th century Louis XVI st. Biscuit de Sèvres porcelain bust of Marie Antoinette. The bust is raised by a circular socle shaped pedestal base with a finely mottled wrap around border. Above is the richly detailed bust of Marie Antoinette draped in a most elegant shawl and wearing a dress with intricately detailed dentil lace accents. She wears her hair in an updo and displays wonderful attention to detail throughout.
