About the Item

A handsome and high quality French 19th century Ormolu statue of Napoleon. This wonderful statue is raised on a square stepped Ormolu base below the tapered central column accented with mottled bands. Above stands the handsome Napoleon dressed in his chasseur uniform with a wonderfully detailed coat, sword to one side, and arms crossed. He displays a wonderful expression with his bicorne hat wore in his traditional "en bataille" manner. Wonderful attention to detail throughout.
