This magnificent and highly dynamic French Art Deco sculpture captures an athletic male figure, the Archer, at the apex of his focus, embodying the heroic strength and kinetic movement celebrated by the period.
Crafted in spelter (régule) circa 1930's, the sculpture is presented with a rich antique metallic patina (either a greenish-gold or a dark bronze-black), and is mounted on a stepped rectangular base.
