About the Item

This sculpture depicts a female wakeboarder in a dynamic pose, holding strongly the handle attached to the wakeboard on the waves. The figure is dressed in a tight-fitting swimsuit with and she's wearing a swimming cap. The sculpture was crafted in France in the 1920s in typical Art Deco manner. The wakeboarder is mounted on a black marble plinth, which provides a solid and elegant base for the sculpture. The plinth is polished to a high shine, adding a luxurious touch to the piece. The sculpture itself is made of multicolor patinated spelter, a type of zinc alloy that was commonly used in the Art Deco period. Its sleek design make it a beautiful addition to any art collection or home decor. Unfortunately it was not possible for us to identify the artist of this work.
